The Fox Pub

This is a lovely friendly village pub in the centre of Small Dole which gives a warm welcome. It has a bar area serving a good selection of wines, ales, ciders and soft drinks. It serves lovely home cooked traditional English food with table service, and sources food from local suppliers. They host parties and gatherings. Dogs are welcome in the bar area.

The pub is open 7 days a week: Mondays 6pm – 10pm, Tuesday to Saturday 12.00 – 3pm and 5.30 – 10pm, Sundays 12 – 8pm. Food is served at slightly shorter hours and not on Mondays and only 12-4pm on Sundays.

Parking
The pub has its own car park which has 27 spaces including 3 disabled spaces next to the pub. The car park is flat with a slightly raised kerb to the pub.

Outside seating
There is a small fenced grass area next to the bar which has 2 benches. There is a 2nd paved area next to the bar entrance which as 5 bench seats and to benches, 2 of which are on a raised area.

Entrance
The main entrance door is 76cm wide with a 2cm threshold and then an inner door which is 70cm wide. There is a second entrance to the bar via double doors 104cm wide which has a sloped threshold of 3-4cm. Regular wheelchair and mobility scooter users manage both of these entrances.

Inside the Bar and Restaurant
The bar and some restaurant seating is all at ground level. There is then one seated area with 2 steps (15cm & 17cm) and another with one step (10-14cm). It is recommended that customers who would have difficulty with these steps should book so that an easily accessible table on the level area can be reserved. There of different types of chairs, and tables to suite different group sizes. There is mainly wall lights. It is generally not a noisy pub.

Toilets
There is a disabled toilet with a 79cm wide door. The room is 150cm wide at its narrowest and 205cm long. The baby changing unit can be moved if more space is needed. There are also separate ladies and gents toilets.
