This independent friendly estate agents was opened in 1988 and is run by a father and daughter from Henfield. They sell, let and manage properties in the local area giving a tailor-made service for each individual property. They are happy to provide knowledge of rural pursuits, local amenities and facilities to those not familiar to the area.
They are open Monday to Thursday 9 – 5, Friday 9 – 4 and Saturdays 9 – 12.
Parking - Coopers Way council car park is situated across the road from the shop and has 90 spaces and 4 disabled parking spaces.
The Library council car park is 100 metres from the shop on the same side of the road with 81 parking places including 3 disabled parking spaces.
Mobility scooters are often parked outside the shop or there is covered parking at the end of Caudle Street.
Entrance - The shop entrance door can be pushed open and then held with a wedge if needed. There is a 5” (12cm) step into the shop and the width of the door is 30” (77cm). If a wheelchair or mobility scooter user
wanted to get in the door, they have access to a ramp which is 72cm wide.
Inside the Shop – There is lots of space to move around. There are 2 steps but customers would not climb these as staff see them at the lower level. There are several chairs to sit on and space for wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Dogs also welcome.
The lighting is good and it is usually reasonably quiet. They are aware of disabled customer’s needs and ask clients how they would like to be contacted. They also ensure disabled people have a representative with them when visiting at home.
Toilets – There is a small toilet up to steps which is 6’ x 3’ (180 x 87cm) with a door width of 26” (66cm). If this is not suitable then customers would be directed to the public toilets in the high street, where there are separate male and female toilets and a unisex accessible disabled toilet which can be accessed with a radar key. A radar key can be borrowed from the shop.
