Parking - Coopers Way council car park is situated at the back of the store and has 4 disabled parking spaces with dropped kerbs/slopes. Mobility scooters are often parked outside on the high street pavement or at the back of the store. There is a undercover mobility scooter parking place at the end of Caudel St.
Entrance - The front and back store entrance doors open automatically when approached. The route from the back door is a long slope down to the shop floor
Inside the Store – there are wide aisles and self-service and manned tills. There are shopping trolleys which fit onto a wheelchair, and baby carriers which fit onto the trolleys, which customers can ask for. There is a Hearing Loop at the 3rd manned till. Staff are trained to look at people’s body language showing if they are needing help, including those wearing a sunflower lanyard, which highlights that the person has a disability - the store usually has a supply of these.
Staff will help older and disabled customers around the store and do their shopping with them, including at checkouts, also unloading and packing shopping and taking it to their car. They also have a wheelchair in the store and a trolley for disabled children.
Toilet - There is no toilet for customers to use, so they would be directed to the public toilets in the high street, where there is a separate male and female block and a unisex disabled accessible which needs a radar key to access
