These Toilets are part of the bus stop the middle of Henfield High Street. Open from 7am – 5.30pm. There is a separate male and female toilet area and a disabled toilet with the bus shelter in the middle.
There are 3 disabled parking spaces behind the block in the Library Council Car Park. There are steps and slope to one side and a slope on the other side.
Female Toilet – There is a 7” (18cm) step up into the toilet with a vertical handrail. The door entrance is 33” (84cm). There are 2 cubicles, a baby changing area, an automatic wash and dry station, and push button to exit.
Male Toilet – There is a gentle ramp up to the door which is 33” (84cm). There is 1 cubicle, 3 urinals, a baby changing unit, an automatic wash and dry station and push button to exit.
Disabled Accessible Toilet – This is accessed up a ramp from the road. The door is 36” (91cm) wide. It has 4 handrails inside and 2 outside. Dimensions are 210cm x 123cm (7’ x 4’). It needs a Radar key to open the door, which are available for sale in Hamfelds. It is therefore accessible 24 hours a day.
Bus Stop
This has bench seating and a noticeboard. This shelter has a step at the front from the pavement which is 9½” at one end and 15” the other. (24 – 38cm) There is a handrail to the seating area on the left had side where the step is most shallow.
