This 63 bed purpose built care home in the heart of Henfield in 3.5 acres of ground. It is part of the Barchester group. It specialises in dementia and general care but also gives care to many other people over 65 years old who need care. It has been in the Top 20 UK Large Care Home awards for the last 2 years and is graded as Outstanding by the CQC. Raynor Court is also part of Red Oaks which offers independent living apartments.

Red Oaks opens its doors for some community groups – intergenerational singing, community choir and anti-natal classes. Also village events - Gardens and Arts weekend and Proms in the Park.

Parking – There is a small car park for 14 cars with a slope down to the front door. There is also parking in nearby roads. There are no disabled parking bays, but there is a drop off point outside the front door with seating.

Entrance and Home - There is one main entrance to the building with wide doors, which has a bell to gain admission. A receptionist will answer the door and give assistance if needed. All visitors sign in at the reception desk and can wait in the comfortable foyer area before being guided by staff to where they need to go. There are lifts to different floors, including to the conservatory. There are disabled toilets with handrails and alarms.

Garden – the paths and the main part of the lawn is flat with seating.
