This is a popular authentic Indian Restaurant just off Henfield High Street. They pride themselves on delivering a genuine taste of India, including classic curries and tandoori grills.
They are open 6 days a week from 5pm to 9.30pm, excluding Tuesdays. They offer a dine in, takeaway or discounted delivery service.
Customers and mobility scooter users can park in the Pet Shop spaces across the road or at the back of the restaurant. Coopers Way council car park is situated just up the road and has 90 spaces and 6 disabled parking spaces. The Library council car park is across the road from the restaurant with 81 parking places including 4 disabled parking spaces.
Entrance and Access to Restaurant
At the main entrance there is a threshold into the foyer of 12cm and the door is 85cm wide. There is then 14 x 20cm high steps up to the restaurant, with a handrail on one side. It is not wheelchair accessible, staff will hand take-away food to customers outside the door, or offer home delivery. There is a camera so staff know that customers are waiting.
Some customers prefer to use the fire escape entrance at the back of the restaurant. Again there are 14 steps of 20cm and the final step of 24cm into the restaurant. There are handrails on both sides.
Inside the Restaurant
There are 13 tables for 2 people which can be put together for larger parties. There are no arms on the chairs and there is comfortable bench seating around one table for 4 people. There is ceiling downlighters and 5 windows to give light. It is normally quiet in the restaurant unless it is busy. There is quiet background music.
Toilets
Off the foyer is a 83cm door to the toilets. There is a mens and ladies toilet both have 83cm wide doors and are approx 140cm x 110cm.
If unable to use these then the public toilets are across road. A radar key can be borrowed to access the disabled toilet.
