Henfield Leisure Centre

Is the main sports centre for the area and includes Sharky’s Soft Play Area and Kids Club. 

Parking – There are 2 car parks with 5 disabled parking places, 3 family spaces, 2 charging points and 2 motorbike parking places.   There is a bike rack and unmarked spaces where mobility scooters could park.

Entrance and Reception Area – This is via the main car park and has a gentle slope with handrail to the entrance.  The entrance door is a self-opening sliding door. The reception area is manned and has a lowered section for children and wheelchair users. There are 2 seats and a coffee area and a lift.

Sports Areas –  There is the main hall downstairs, and upstairs is a very well equipped gym, with a separate weights area and another mat area.  There is a general room for classes, eg aerobics, gentle gym, line dancing, etc.  Outside are 2 padel courts

Sharky’s –  This is a children’s soft play area and café. 

Kids Club - used by 5 – 12 year olds for breakfast and after school club, Post natal group and Toddler group and Messy Monkeys. 

Toilets – There is a unisex/disabled/children’s toilet in the main downstairs corridor with handrails and automatic light. 

There is a small unisex disabled toilet in the café area which has an automatic light, handrails and alarm.   

There are also separate male and female toilets.   No changing room toilet. 

There are 4 baby changing units

Changing Rooms – These are separate male and female, but the changing room in each is communal with lockers. 

Help Available – staff are always within the centre who are happy to help.
