Cornerweighs Natural and Organic Foods
This is a health food shop, stocking organic, natural, vegetarian and vegan foods, as well as natural body care, health and beauty products. Susie (owner) also gives advice on health issues either in the shop or as a home visit. Open 6 days a week.
Parking - By appointment, disabled customers can park temporarily in the loading bay at the back of the shop to collect their shopping; or if not able to leave home on occasions items can be delivered to them.
Coopers Way council car park is very close by and has 4 disabled parking spaces. The Library council car park are situated off the other side of the High Street and has 3 disabled parking spaces. Both have dropped kerbs/slopes.
There is an undercover mobility scooter parking area outside the shop.
Entrance - There is a 5½” (14cm) step into the shop. The door width is 76cm. Staff are happy to help disabled people in and out of the shop, or serve wheelchair/mobility scooter users outside the shop.
Inside the Shop – It is a small shop but designed to be able to be able to walk round and see everything. They offer refills of food and household liquids, which staff offer to dispense.
Toilet - There is no toilet for customers to use, so they would be directed to the public toilets in the high street where there is separate male and female toilets and a unisex accessible toilet opened by a radar key
