The Bull Inn

This is a lovely family and dog friendly pub at Mockbridge in Shermanbury, north of Henfield on the A281. They are known for a wide range of freshly baked gourmet pizza, but they also serve burgers, scampi and fresh salads, as well as desserts. They have a lovely large garden for alfresco dining, a large children’s area, a skittle alley and function room. They host parties and gatherings and local groups visit. The pub is open 7 days a week: Monday to Friday 12md – 3pm & 5pm – 9.30pm, Saturday to Sunday 12.30 – 8pm. Food is served for slightly shorter hours.

Parking

The pub has its own car park which has approx 30 spaces. There is some parking at the front of the pub, or there is a flat gravel car park at the back with easy access to the pub and garden.

Outside

There is a large grass garden area with plenty of space and bench seating and chairs can be bought from the bar area if needed. There is seating next to the large children’s play area.

Entrance

There are 4 entrances from outside. The front entrance door is 83cm wide and has a 4-7cm lip. The main entrance from the car park has 2 doors which are 78cm wide and has a small 5cm lip at the outer door. The garden entrance has 5 stone steps to a patio and then a 13cm step. The function room has double door with a 9cm step. Regular wheelchair and mobility scooter users the first 2 entrances.

Inside the Bar, Restaurant and Function Room

The bar and restaurant are all flat with different types of seating. There are wall lights and light from the windows. There is a quieter area in the end room. Access to the function / skittle room is via two 9cm steps.

Toilets

There is a disabled toilet with a 79cm door, adjustable and fixed handrails and a baby changing table. The room is 140 x 290cm. There are also separate ladies and gents toilets.
