Henfield Library

This library serves the community of Henfield and surrounding areas. It is open 6 days a week and offers a volunteer run home library service (Home Library Direct). Three regular activities take place in the library: Knit and Natter (Tuesday 14.30-15.30), Baby Rhyme Time (Thursday 10.15-11.45) and Tea and Chat (first Friday of the month 14.30-16.00). Special events, activities and drop-in sessions are also held throughout the year.

There is free WiFi and 4 public computers, a scanner and a photocopier. A Digital Volunteer offers sessions on Friday mornings, offering help with IT accessibility sessions, amongst other things. There are a lot of signposts to resources for disabled people.  There are audio books for visually impaired persons. Library members also have access to a large e library, including e books, e audiobooks, e magazines and e newspapers. These are available via the Libby, Borrowbox, U Library and Pressreader apps, which offer accessibility settings.
