King Fish
This is a traditional Fish and Chip shop in the High Street. The shop sells a range of fish, scampi, sausages, chicken, pies, chips and other accompaniments. There is also a kid’s menu, puddings and cold drinks.
The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 12md – 9pm
Parking – There is some on-street parking near the shop. The Library council car park has 81 spaces including 4 disabled parking spaces. Coopers Way council car park on the other side of the road has 90 spaces including 6 disabled parking spaces with dropped kerbs/slopes.
Mobility scooters are often parked outside the shop or in the nearby private car park.
Entrance in High Street – There is a flat entrance from the road with a permanent ramp into the shop 76 x 47cm (29” x 18”) and 8cm (3”) high. The entrance door is 79cm (31”) wide.
Mobility scooters and wheelchairs users can come into the shop if space, if not they can be served outside.
Inside the shop – There is slab flooring. There are 2 wooden chairs and a bench seat with a counter. The customer area is 380 x 195cm (12.5’ x 6.5’). It is a nice bright shop with lots of light from the windows
Toilet - There is no toilet in the shop. There is a public unisex disabled toilet in the High Street accessed using a radar key, as well as separate male and female toilets and baby changing facilities in each.
