Parking - Coopers Way council car park for 90 cars is next to the hall, which has 4 disabled parking spaces with dropped kerbs. There is also a loading bay outside the hall with 2 dropped kerbs.
Entrance - There are 3 ways into the front of the hall, 2 with steps and another with a gentle slope, easily wide enough for a wheelchair. The front door opens automatically onto a carpeted area. The inner door is sometimes left open, or there is a press button to open, but difficult to access in a wheelchair, or it can be opened by hand. A caretaker can be contacted by phone to help, with their mobile phone number displayed in the noticeboard.
Entrance to the Hall Garden – this area can be accessed on either side of the building, or via the Garden room. If it has rained it can be difficult for manoeuvring wheelchairs.
Within the Hall – There is a spacious foyer with some seating. The corridors and doors are all wide enough for wheelchairs and there are no steps. No mobility scooters are allowed in the hall.
Toilets – There is a compliant unisex disabled toilet off the main corridor, with an alarm and handrails – it has a sliding door. There are 5 female toilets, 2 of which have handrails, and one has a baby changing table. There is a separate male toilet with one cubicle
Help Available – a caretaker is within the building at most times who are there to help.
