This independent local family-owned business is based on Henfield High Street and was established in 2014. They help to plan religious and non-religious funeral services and serve many different faiths. They also offer stonemasonry. They have different vehicles: Jaguars, Cadillacs, VW van as well as a horse-drawn carriage or motorcycle hearse. The office is open Monday to Friday from 9am – 5pm but they are always available on the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days of the week. Dogs are welcome in the office. It is a caring welcoming environment where bereaved customers often return for support after the funeral.

Parking – There is a small private car park at the back of their office which has a flat surface to the office. There is some on-street parking on the high street, or in the Library council car park which has 81 spaces including 4 disabled parking spaces. Coopers Way council car park across the road has 90 spaces including 6 disabled parking spaces with dropped kerbs/slopes. Mobility scooters are often parked outside the office or private car park or can be bought into the office.

Entrance from High Street – There are two steps 15cm & 11cm (6” & 4”) into the building, and the entrance is 75cm (29.5”) wide. There is a handrail. Assistance can be given, or a home visit can be arranged. There is a back entrance to the office for those who can’t manage the steps (by arrangement). This has a slight 3cm lip at the door.

Inside the office – There is a reception area and also a meeting room where confidential conversations can be held. Also, a chapel of rest where the deceased can be viewed. There are no steps inside the building. The door widths are 78cm (30.5”) or more.

It is well lit, tends to be quiet as no background noise, staff are willing to help.

Vehicle access – There is a range of cars to take people to a funeral. Folded wheelchairs/mobility scooters can be accommodated in limousines.

Toilet - There is a spacious unisex accessible toilet in the office which is 210 x 180cm (7’ x 6’) in dimension with a 75cm (2’6”) door entrance. It has an adjustable handrail and 6 fixed handrails.

There is also another toilet 167 x 88cm (5’6” x 3’) with 70cm (27.5”) door width.
