is a small friendly café on Henfield High Street with locally sourced produce, homemade cooking and locally roasted coffee. Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and takeaways and is licensed. There is a sheltered wall garden with bench and table seating. It welcomes cyclists, disabled people and is dog friendly.
Parking - the Library car park is situated off the High Street is next to the café and has 3 disabled parking spaces. There is a slope down to the car park or down into the café. There is also parking on the high street outside the café.
Entrance - There is a gentle ramp up from the high street into the café, with no step. If you can’t reach the door handle just knock on the window and staff or customers will open the door for you.
Entrance to the garden is via a gentle ramp from the car park next to the disabled parking.
Inside the Café – You order food and drinks at the counter, and then find a seat. They have regular customers who are disabled and are happy to move chairs to accommodate wheelchair users, and store walking aids.
There is also a seating in the garden with either bench seating around tables or tables with seating which can be moved to accommodate wheelchairs or scooters.
Toilets – The is a toilet in the café up a steep flight of stairs, which is not suitable for customers with mobility problems.
Next to the café are the public toilets with a disabled toilet which needs a Radar key to access. Also, a men’s and ladies toilet block with automatic lighting and automatic hand washing facilities. There is a baby changing unit in the ladies toilet.
