Christina’s Afternoon Tea and Gift Shop

This is a small friendly beautifully decorated tea and gift shop on Henfield High Street. The gift shop is open 5 days a week (not Wednesdays or Sundays) from 10am – 4pm, and for bookings. It also provides a takeaway service and caterers for bespoke events, eg parties, weddings, funerals. It also sells a range of jewellery, gifts and cards. The corridor outside the shop is also the Tourist Information point for the village. It welcomes disabled people and is dog friendly.

Parking - There is parking on the high street outside the tea shop. Coopers Way council car park and the Library council car park are situated off the High Street close by, and have disabled parking spaces with dropped kerbs.

Entrance - There is a (1” (3cm) lip to the entrance into the building, and with a door into the shop to the right, which is manageable for wheelchairs and small mobility scooters.

Inside – They have tables and chairs and displays with items to sell. They have regular customers who are disabled and are happy to move chairs to accommodate wheelchair users, and store walking aids.

Toilets – There is one unisex accessible toilet for all customers to use which is off a short corridor. It has 5 handrails, sink and towel, alarm and a latch door handle.

Alternatively, the separate male and female public toilets, and disabled accessible toilet opened with a radar key, are close by on the high street.
